Valerie Reich is a dedicated therapist with a focus on family and individual counseling at Visions. Growing up in Los Angeles, CA, Valerie pursued her education at Elon University. She continued her studies at Pepperdine University for graduate school, earning credentials as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC).
With specialties in couples therapy, intimacy, sexual trauma, and substance use disorder (SUDS) treatment, Valerie’s main goal is to help families and teens live fulfilling lives aligned with their values and aspirations.
Valerie’s passion for working with teens stems from their boundless potential and resilience. She enjoys supporting them as they navigate life’s challenges and strive for positive change. Valerie enjoys surfing, backpacking, camping, and immersing herself in music outside of her therapeutic work.
Looking ahead, Valerie envisions a future where she continues her impactful work at Visions, establishes a small private practice, engages in teaching opportunities, and fulfills personal dreams such as homeownership, pet companionship, and extensive travel.
