Jessica brings a wealth of passion and dedication to her role as an ASD Companion/Program Aide at Visions. With a BA in Applied Psychology and certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Jessica is equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide exceptional care and support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Originally from Simi Valley, Jessica pursued her education at the University of Phoenix, where she honed her understanding of psychology and therapy, specializing in ASD. Her main focus at Visions is to collaborate with ASD clients and their treatment teams, ensuring the best residential experience and offering valuable insight into their complex thought processes.
Jessica finds immense fulfillment in working with teenagers, recognizing the unique challenges and rewards they present. She thrives in environments that continuously teach and challenge her, embracing the opportunity to learn and grow alongside her adolescent clients.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Jessica’s priority is spending quality time with her 3-year-old. Together, they embark on adventures to the beach, zoo, and other outdoor and educational activities, fostering a love for exploration and learning. Looking ahead, Jessica envisions furthering her education to obtain a PhD and become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She aims to combine her expertise in therapy and behavioral analysis to address the therapeutic needs of the ASD population, advocating for better care and understanding in society.
