Cinthia is a multi-talented individual who has embarked on several diverse career paths. After obtaining her cosmetology certification, she dedicated twelve years to working in a beauty salon, where she honed her skills and developed a passion for the industry.
Looking for a change, Cinthia decided to pursue a diploma in medical billing and coding, attending school to learn the necessary skills for this field. She completed her education and started working in the medical field, utilizing her newfound knowledge to contribute to the accurate and efficient management of medical records and billing processes. However, Cinthia’s thirst for personal growth and the desire to make a difference in people’s lives led her to take another turn in her career journey. Presently, Cinthia is attending GCC to pursue her CCADC in counseling to become a compassionate and dedicated counselor.
While searching for new opportunities, Cinthia discovered Visions, an organization that resonated with her values and goals. After scheduling an interview, she was offered a position and has been a part of the Visions team for the past five years. Cinthia initially started as a Program Aide and has since progressed to her current role as IOP Coordinator, where she plays a crucial role in supporting and coordinating the organization’s intensive outpatient program. She has also shown her commitment to helping clients by providing companionship and support throughout their journey.
Outside of her professional life, Cinthia’s heart melts for her furry companions, Pixie and Jax. She treasures spending time with her two daughters whenever they’re available. Cinthia enjoys long drives, attending concerts, and exploring new destinations. Her adventurous spirit fuels her love for travel and her desire to experience different cultures and landscapes.
