Dr. Kiriakos has been working as a private practice psychiatrist for more than 16 years, doing both medication management and therapy covering wide ranges of diagnoses, including addiction, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, ADHD, women’s health issues, and eating disorders. She did her training through the UCLA program where she served as chief resident her senior year. She has also been working in the capacity of a physician utilization reviewer for 30 insurance companies throughout the U.S. for 5 years, responsible for rendering decisions regarding medical care using approved clinical criteria set out by the insurance companies. In addition, she has worked as Medical Director for different residential rehabilitation centers in Southern California, including Breathe Life Healing Centers and La Ventana Treatment Centers, in the capacity of an addictions and eating disorder specialist, contributing to multiple aspects of patients’ psychiatric care. She is excited to be part of the Visions Adolescent Treatment Center team.
