Beck oversees the business development team at Visions Treatment Centers. Collaborating closely with leadership, Beck spearheads strategic planning initiatives to optimize business operations and enhance Visions’s national and international visibility. Beck’s unwavering commitment and expertise, honed over his five years at Visions, shine through his diverse roles and readiness to tackle various tasks. He is renowned for his mantra, “Don’t be boring,” which underscores his approach to the therapeutic process with families and teens.
With a background in Sociology, Beck emphasized Gender & Sexuality during his undergraduate studies. This foundation laid the groundwork for Beck’s deep understanding of societal dynamics and their impact on mental health. Beck furthered his expertise with a master’s degree in Addiction Counseling and recently completed a second master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. With over 15 years of dedicated service in the mental health and substance use field, Beck brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to their role.
Beck’s passion lies in championing young people’s and their families’ well-being. He is a master’ s-level clinician specializing in working with LGBTQ+ youth and their families. Alongside his role in business development, Beck continues to advocate for and support LGBTQ+ individuals in various capacities at Visions, ensuring a sense of belonging for all those who walk through the doors.
Beck’s love for working with teens and families stems from the hope he sees in Visions’ transformative work. Beyond his professional endeavors, Beck enjoys spending time at the movies, adventuring and traveling the world with his partner, socializing with friends, and doting on his perfect dog, Bert. Known for this small obsession with small dogs, Beck can often be found at the snack table or in the company of a furry friend at gatherings.
