Intensive Outpatient Program for Adolescent Patients
Our Intensive Outpatient Program for Adolescents focuses on helping teens who do not require round-the-clock supervision.
Some disorders require consistent care, such as substance use. While inpatient treatment is often the best, most effective approach for treating teens with severe symptoms, intensive outpatient care allows us to help a wider variety of cases and patients in dire need. Inpatient treatment programs offer 24-hour medical supervision and are essential for individuals with severe conditions requiring constant care.
While outpatient patients do not require residential treatment, we tailor each treatment plan to the individual via a thorough assessment. We approach each case after fully reviewing a patient’s physical and psychological health, considering the biological, psychological, and social factors at play.
At Visions Treatment Centers, we seek not only to provide immediate care but also to help patients develop a long-term environment at home and in their community where they can continue to rely on the support of their loved ones while feeling empowered to be more self-reliant through effective coping mechanisms.
Family Therapy and Support
Family therapy is a crucial component of our intensive outpatient treatment program.
We believe that the family unit plays a significant role in a teen’s mental health and well-being, and therefore, we involve parents and caregivers in the treatment process. Our family therapy sessions are designed to educate and support family members while providing a safe space to express their concerns and feelings. We work closely with families to develop strategies and techniques that promote healthy communication, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation.
By fostering a supportive and understanding home environment, we help teens and their families navigate the challenges of mental health treatment and recovery together.
Integrated and Integrative Care
Our intensive outpatient program is designed to provide integrative care, addressing each individual’s physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
We offer a range of evidence-based therapies, including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and art therapy. Our clinicians and therapists work closely to ensure that each individual receives comprehensive and coordinated care.
This holistic approach allows us to address the multifaceted nature of a mental health condition, providing teens with the tools and support they need to achieve lasting recovery.
Individualized Care Plans
We understand that each adolescent is unique, with their own set of challenges and needs.
Therefore, we develop individualized care plans that address each individual’s needs and goals. Our care plans are tailored to meet the unique needs of each teen, taking into account their mental health symptoms, substance abuse issues, and behavioral challenges.
Creating personalized treatment plans ensures that adolescents receive the targeted support and interventions they need to overcome their obstacles and achieve their full potential.
Life Skills Training
Our intensive outpatient program includes life skills training designed to equip adolescents with the skills and strategies to navigate life’s challenges.
Our life skills training program focuses on developing healthy coping mechanisms, improving emotional regulation, and enhancing social skills. We believe that by teaching adolescents these essential life skills, we can empower them to achieve their full potential and live a healthy, happy, and fulfilling life.
Through practical and interactive sessions, teens learn how to manage stress, build positive relationships, and make informed decisions, setting the stage for a successful future.
