John is a CADC-II counselor for the outpatient program. He has been at Visions since 2013. In addition to being trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, John is a practicing lay Buddhist. As such, John runs the mindfulness and meditation groups at Visions, teaching skills to both adolescents and parents. John has worked with children and teens for many years as a youth football coach and as a coach at Malibu High School, both in the football program and CIF champion girls soccer program. John is currently enrolled at Antioch University working toward a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
