Amy Winehouse is Back in Rehab
Amy Winehouse has checked back into rehab, sources report, in order to save her new relationship. Winehouse was pressured into treatment by her current flame, Reg Traviss, because her heavy drinking is (surprise) causing problems in their relationship. Family members and close friends can play important roles in young addicts’ lives when helping them confront their drug and alcohol issues. It is often the threat of losing something important, such as a place to live, financial support, or important relationships that motivate teens to seek help for drug and alcohol problems.
An adolescent treatment center is often a necessary component for teens in need of help for drug and alcohol problems. Understandably, teens are frequently resistant to the idea of entering rehab. They may feel that their problem is not bad enough, or that they are too young to have a serious problem. Teen rehab is sensitive to the many issues facing teens seeking recovery. Teens face unique issues in recovery, such as finding new peer groups, returning home and to school, and fragile self images. Adolescent drug treatment addresses every challenge teens face, working to help teens become healthy, happy, and provide them with the necessary tools to stay on the road to recovery.
